KERMAN, Calif. — MEC® Aerial Work Platforms is shipping its new PLUS (+) electric scissor lift models featuring increased capacities and the MME30 vertical mast lift with industry-exclusive 36-ft. working height to rental fleets across North America in Q2 2026, helping crews be more productive every shift.
“After getting a glimpse of these new products at The ARA Show and CONEXPO-CON/AGG earlier this year, we’ve heard from customers who are ready to put these models to work,” said Paul Waller, MEC vice president of sales for North America. “Starting this quarter, rental companies can add these models built for real jobsite demands, featuring higher usable capacities, more operation time per charge, and other practical updates shaped by end-user feedback.”
The PLUS models shipping now include the Micro 19®+, Micro 19®-XD+, Micro 26®+, Micro 26®-XD+, 3232+, 3346+, 4046+, and the 4555+, along with the 1930+ and 2632+ models for Canada.

Micro 19®+ and Micro 19®-XD+: Compact Models Add Capacity, Maneuverability
The new Micro 19® PLUS models are built for tight indoor work where crews need compact access that can handle their tools and materials. Updates include:
- Greater capacity:Platform capacity increases to 600 lbs. – an increase of 100 lbs., while deck extension and Xtra-Deck® (XD) capacity rises to 300 lbs., so crews can more easily work how their jobs require.
- More productive time per charge:Duty cycles increase by 8% with new AC front-wheel drive brushless motors.
- Easier navigation, jobsite movement, and transport loading:12-in. diameter, 4-in. wide wheels paired with high-angle steering and front-wheel drive provide excellent maneuverability and help power onto trailers and handle ramps, thresholds, and uneven surfaces.
- More durable non-marking tires:Advanced rubber compound and tread pattern designed to withstand curb/edge abuse and wear.
Micro 26®+, Micro 26®-XD+ and other PLUS slab electric models: Longer duty cycles, lower operating costs
Throughout the rest of the PLUS range, MEC’s updates focus on protecting shift productivity and rental utilization by reducing overload-related interruptions, extending battery runtime, and lowering day-to-day operating costs. Core improvements include:
- Higher capacities:An additional 50 to 150 lbs. more capacity, depending on the model, designed to reduce frequency of overload cutouts. All deck extension and Xtra-Deck® (XD) capacities increase from 250 lbs. to 300 lbs.
- 22% greater duty cycles:High-efficiency PMSR AC drive motors recapture energy during descent, extending battery endurance.
- Lower operating costs:Durability upgrades, including advanced tire compounds, plus a 4-in-1 motor controller that reduces system connections.
- Enhanced operator controls:New control box with larger screen, thicker membrane switches, and proportional lowering for smoother, more precise positioning.
All PLUS series models offer the following fleet-ready standard features: theft-deterrent control box bracket, lockable battery disconnect, magnetic gate latch, larger forklift pockets, MEC’s patented Leak Containment System® to protect flooring, and AGM maintenance-free batteries.
MME30 Vertical Mast Lift: Exclusive Indoor Working Height at 36 ft.

The MME30 is built for indoor maintenance and work where crews need more height without moving up to a larger, harder-to-maneuver machine. With the MME30, users can:
- Reach higher indoors:Industry-exclusive 36-ft. working height.
- Access tight interiors:5-in. overall width to pass through a standard single doorway.
- Maximize productivity:Lifts 350 lbs with 20-in. platform extension and drives fully elevated to reduce repeated up/down cycles for punch lists, maintenance runs, and overhead installs.
- Protect finished indoor environments:Includes MEC’s patented Leak Containment System® and 5-in. wide solid, non-marking tires to minimize ground pressure.
- Holds up in high-turn rental use:Rugged steel covers, platform, and gate construction; strengthened roller-mast components; PMSR direct-electric AC drive motors for endurance; and AGM maintenance-free batteries.
“For crews, these models mean working more seamlessly with less downtime and fewer interruptions,” Waller said. “For rental companies, it means increased utilization and less time spent dealing with preventable issues. We can’t wait to get these out in the field.”
Contractors can contact their preferred rental providers to request these models for upcoming projects.
